Rising Freshmen

*Updated 2/5/21*
Rising 9th Grade Informational Zoom 2021:
  • Current 8th grade students/parents are welcome to attend our rising 9th grade zoom night on February 24th @ 5:30PM. We will go over all things high school, what Hoggard has to offer, and there will be time for questions. Middle school counselors for area public school and most private schools have been given the zoom link. If you are from a homeschool or a private school without the link, please email your potential assigned counselor.

Due to Covid restrictions, we are not able to give tours for the 20-21 school year. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

Public Middle School Students
Those coming from a public school within the New Hanover County school system will register for high school courses at their middle school with the help of their middle school counselor. Please contact your middle school counselor for details as all schools handle this process differently.
The courses your student selects will automatically transfer over to us.
**For those public school students who may be accepted into Hoggard through open choice: Your middle school will send us a paper copy of the courses you wish to take at Hoggard if you are accepted here on open choice. There is no need to meet to get this sorted out. It will be done automatically.

We cannot accommodate individual meeting requests with potential students/parents at this time as we are serving our current students.
Please plan to attend the Rising 9th grade parent zoom on 2/24/21. During this info session, you will have an opportunity to listen to a presentation from our counselors, and ask any questions you may have.
